About Jason Williams, MD
Dr. Jason Williams is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician and Sports Medicine Fellow. He has spent nine years as an ER physician and completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship with Vanderbilt Medical Center. He has advanced training in the care of fractures, sprains/strains. arthritis, head injuries and more.
He has also served as team physician for Vanderbilt’s football, basketball and baseball teams; as well as the Nashville Sounds, Whites’ Creek High School Football team and the Iroquois Steeplechase.
Dr. Williams completed his Bachelors at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed his Medical Residency at New York Methodist Emergency Medicine in Brooklyn, New York in 2009. In 2018, he decided to further his education at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee where he was a Sports Medicine Fellow.
