Doctor applying cast

Thanks Physicians Urgent Care and Dr. David Whetstone! My son did a little “spin move” jumping into the pool this afternoon and needed 3 stitches. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. Cannot say enough about how FABULOUS all the staff were. I wasn’t even finished with signing paperwork before he was stitched up and ready to go…..need I say more. Oh, and did I mention it only cost me a $35 co-pay vs. at least $100 I would have paid to wait hours in the ER! Gotta love it if you gotta have it!

Had a great experience at Physicians Urgent Care in Franklin on Tuesday. As a full-time working mom, the late hours were very convenient for my schedule. I took my daughter to see Dr. Anderson (who was fabulous!) about a suspicious bug bite. The office was warm and friendly, and the exam room was spectacular…from the many games, puzzles and flat panel TV for them to watch Phineas and Ferb to the comfy couches to sit on…not your standard exam room with a high table and one chair. It was definitely designed to make kids (and tired parents!) feel comfortable. This was the 1st Dr’s visit that I had to beg my kids to leave! This was a much-needed service in our area! Thank you!!!

Loved being able to walk-in and be seen right away. We’ve seen three different doctors here and they have all been wonderful with our children.

WOULD GIVE IT 10 STARS if available. Took my daughter in on a holiday Sunday for an ear infection. Was still signing in with the receptionist (who was extremely pleasant and welcoming) when she was called back to see Dr. Allen. We never even “got a chance” to sit in the waiting room (which was comfortably appointed). Exam room was very comfortable… “wood” floors, very clean, big-screen TV on the wall. Dr. Allen was bright, professional, and thorough. Never felt rushed. This facility is an asset to Williamson County — great option available rather than waiting and overusing the emergency room for noncritical injuries/illnesses. I am in the healthcare profession and was very impressed with our experience.

Great experience today. Checked in and was called back to see the doctor before I could sit down. Was in and out in 30 minutes. Love the fact they are open 7 days a week and till 9pm at night. No more taking time from work to see a doctor.

We took our 16-month-old baby boy to this clinic last night because he fell and gashed his head. First of all the waiting room is very cozy and welcoming. They thought of everything to make the waiting room accommodate patients. There is Keurig coffee machine, bottled water, comfy couches, current magazines, and of course TVs. Also, checking in is a breeze, and the receptionist is courteous and friendly. We did not have an appointment but we were seen within minutes of arriving. The doctor and triage nurse were professional, kind and honest. The doctor even took the time to call my son’s pediatrician to discuss my son. If you need to visit a walk-in clinic for urgent care or cannot be seen by your regular physician, GO HERE. I will definitely return!

Quick and friendly service for needed blood-work. Gorgeous, patient- and kid-friendly facility unlike any medical office of any kind I’ve ever seen. Wish we lived closer so we could use it regularly!

Dr. David Whetstone is the best however; let me explain. I came into to the office for ear pain (and it was very painful). Dr. Whetstone had very good bedside manners and was very attentive to my needs and concerns. He went the extra mile to ensure my symptoms were not related to something more serious. I have never published anything about a physician and/or any other service I received. I personally have worked with numerous physicians and I have worked in a Hospital / Clinic setting for years and I have never seen a more professional, detailed, and caring physician. Believe it or not he actually called to follow up on my progress! Wow! If you are looking for a great physician, please visit Dr. Whetstone…really!
